Dunnhumby and Placer.ai have developed a new AI tool for assessing the competitive threat retailers represent, and providing information on what features are attractive to shoppers at geographic, chain and store level.

The Competitive Threat Evaluator was launched a few months after the two companies announced: they are expanding their partnership to unveil new dunnhumby insights powered by Placer.ai location data. According to dunnhumby, retailers can allocate resources more efficiently by responding to competitive threats. //
