Better-than-expected retail sales in November
The increase in retail sales in November exceeded the expectations of the analysts polled by MTI who expect that this year turnover will decline.
The Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Wednesday that retail sales volume in November 2011 increased by 1.1 percent, compared to the same period of last year. Compared to the previous month – according to the the seasonal and calendar adjusted datas, – the volume of retail sales showed no substantial shift, only increased by 0.2 percent – reports MTI.
