The Unilever stopped dumping of hazardous waste at its European sites
Among the world's leading companies, Unilever is the first whose factories do not sell non-hazardous waste sent to landfill.
Nine months after Unilever formulation of this objective, the company announced that waste dumping is completely eliminated in the European Region. This means that not only the factories, but sites owned by Unilever, logistics departments, distribution centers or offices not sending waste to landfills. Unilever aims to eliminate the company’s waste production by the end of the year worldwide, and continues working on a waste-free value chain.
