The agriculture ministers of the V4+4 welcomed the EU decision on GM crops
The agriculture ministers of the V4+4 countries welcomed the EU decision on GM crops at the V4+4 Agriculture Ministers Meeting in Budapest on Friday.
According to the decision, the Member States can decide, whether they grow GM crops or not – the Minister of Agriculture emphasized at the press conference after the meeting. Fazekas Sándor added that this is an important success of the Hungarian agricultural diplomacy.
The V4+4 countries are the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia (V4), and Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania and Slovenia (+4). (MTI)
