The biggest digital development in the tourism sector
Launched in 2019 by the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ), the National Tourism Data Supply Centre (NTAK) is a digital platform that allows real-time visibility of anonymous, turnover-based statistical data about all accommodation establishments in the country, together with such data on hospitality businesses and tourist attractions.

By using NTAK data, the market environment can be analysed, understanding the different processes and identifying various tourism trends, thanks to which the sector can react more quickly to changes. From 1 January 2024, tourism businesses with a net turnover of between HUF 12m and HUF 100m will also be included in the data submission. MTÜ helps businesses with a net turnover between HUF 12m and HUF 50m with free software to fulfil their data submitting obligation. (x)
