The P & G and Auchan launched a joint charity program for the children in need
The Procter & Gamble and Auchan launched a joint charitable program to improve the daily lives of the residents of the SOS Children's Village and four other children homes and to create more comfortable living environment for them. By the end of next June every customer can help who buy Procter & Gamble products in the Auchan shops in Hungary. The Procter & Gamble will donate 5 HUF after every product for this purpose.
According to the information of the Directorate-General for Social and Child Protection a total of 22,922 minor children and young adults in after-care are living in the child protection system. 14,234 of them are living in foster care, 8,090 are living in children's homes and 328 severely, multiply handicapped children are living in nursing-care facility.
