Two thirds of Hungarians are looking forward to new innovations in banking services
Mastercard commissioned TNS Kantar with conducting an 11-market survey on Digital Banking, which revealed that 6 from 7 people use a digital banking service at least once a month, and 38 percent do it daily or weekly.
Europeans think the biggest advantage of digital solutions is that they are comfortable, as time can be saved by using them (66 percent); they are also user-friendly (65 percent), and customers expect them to be safe (67 percent).
According to the study, 9 from 10 Europeans believe that cooperation and partnership are essential in commencing an innovation process in the financial sector. More than 75 percent reckon that Mastercard is the perfect partner for digital solutions, because the company offers safe, secure and easy to use technology (28 percent), it is a reliable partner (23 percent) and provides innovative products (22 percent). In September 2019 the EU’s PSD 2 Open Banking Initiative enters into force. In connection with this, the study writes that 85 percent of people don’t know about this initiative. //
