Three things are needed – money, money, money

KÖZSZÖV
The National Association of Public Sector Catering Service Providers (KÖZSZÖV) has asked for help from the government to subsidise the cost increase expected from 2022, which will occur for the municipalities in providing children with hot meals in kindergartens and schools. President Anna Zoltai told our magazine: the new government decree that makes it obligatory for mass catering service providers to use more Hungarian cooking ingredients than before will restructure supply chains, change transportation and storage processes and increase prices in general. What is more, various requirements related to mass catering service providers have also increased. One of KÖZSZÖV’s main goals is to improve the quality level of the sector. //
Positive answers
In many cases the reaction of decision-makers is positive when KÖZSZÖV contacts them. At the end of November Tibor Pogácsás, minister of state for municipal affairs informed president Anna Zoltai that mass catering service providers will receive more state money to compensate for their increasing costs. He promised that in 2022 they will keep monitoring the changes and specify the subsidies for public sector catering kitchens accordingly. //
