Because of the coronavirus, we eat more fruits and vegetables
People consume more fruit and vegetables, but also less ready meals, amid restrictions imposed by the coronavirus pandemic, the University of Antwerp found in its survey carried out in 11 countries – Australia, Belgium, Chile, Uganda, the Netherlands, France, Austria, Greece, Canada, Brazil and Ireland – involving nearly 11,000 consumers, presented by MTI on Wednesday.
Charlotte De Backer, one of the authors of the study, says that people forced to stay at home not only eat healthier, but prefer to try new recipes and waste less food – index wrote. (Index TOG)
