The government supports the construction of the family farms’ grain storages
The government supports the construction of grain storages at small and medium-sized family farms, because the government wants to reduce their exposure to the market – Kis Miklós Zsolt, Minister of State for Agriculture and Rural Development said on Friday at the handover ceremony of the newly built grain storage and treatment plant of the Mezőgazdasági Zrt. in Jászkarajenő.
Kis Miklós Zsolt underlined that the smaller farms without proper storage and advanced, energy-efficient drying capacities are forced to sell their products immediately, so they are more exposed to the negative market influences. Therefore, they encourage the cooperation of the family farms to build new crop storages, drying and cleaning plants with a maximum capacity of 5,000 tonnes- he added. (MTI)
