JYSK is constantly working to reduce its environmental footprint
The Danish company, JYSK, is once again taking important steps in the field of environmental protection, this time by changing the packaging and ingredients of its products. The company has announced that it will be making major changes to the packaging of its quilts, as well as removing aluminum trim from its garden chairs.
In the case of garden furniture, removing the aluminum decorative element reduces the amount of aluminum used by 22 tons per year. In addition, thanks to the new design of the quilt packaging, they need to use more than 40 containers less per year, which results in significant space savings.
According to JYSK sustainability director Ditte Revsbæk Hansen, this move is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to reduce its environmental footprint. The company continues to actively search for new solutions and innovations throughout the organization.
