The confectionery industry association initiated a consultation to extend the 5+1 government package of measures to pastry shops
The Hungarian Confectionery Industry Association initiated negotiations with the government and contacted Minister of National Economy Márton Nagy to achieve the extension of the recently announced 5+1 government package of measures worth approximately 100 billion forints to improve the competitiveness of catering and restaurants to pastry shops – the industry association told MTI on Thursday.
In the statement, Balázs Erdélyi, the president of the Hungarian Confectionery Association, which is celebrating its 120th anniversary this year The professional president of the Chamber of Commerce pointed out that the pastry shops are the closest business type to restaurant catering in terms of high live labor, highly skilled labor, and locally made, artisanal quality products.
