The 10th anniversary of the MMSZ Agricultural and Food Marketing Section
The Agricultural and Food Marketing Section of the Hungarian Marketing Association celebrated its 10th anniversary with a jubilee event. Among the attendees were the former founder, Balázs Pászti, and Dr. Gedeon Totth, the current president of the Section.

Beyond reminiscing about the early days, the event primarily aimed to highlight future opportunities in agricultural and food industry marketing while inspiring professionals in the sector to drive progress. The diverse presentations and interactive roundtable discussion allowed participants to gain new perspectives, ideas, and practical solutions.
Inspiring Lectures from Industry Experts
The event was opened by Péter Ondré, Managing Director of the Agricultural Marketing Center, who delivered a presentation on the benefits and future potential of community-based agricultural marketing. He showcased how innovative marketing strategies can sustain the momentum of the food industry.
Sustainability was also a key topic. László Büki, Honorary President of the Association for Sustainable Packaging, and Krisztina Bódi, Vice President of the Section, jointly demonstrated how environmentally conscious packaging can contribute to the long-term success of food industry companies.
The closing lecture was given by Zsófia Bánhegyi, Commercial Director of Szerencsejáték Zrt., who shared her insights on the evolution of marketing.
Following the presentations, a dynamic professional roundtable discussion provided an opportunity for participants to share their views and draw inspiration from each other’s experiences. The interactive discourse reinforced the importance of collaboration in advancing marketing activities within the sector.

The event fittingly celebrated the ten-year operation of the Agricultural and Food Marketing Section. Over the past decade, the Section has significantly contributed to strengthening marketing awareness in the Hungarian agricultural and food industry, launching numerous successful projects.
The jubilee event not only honored the past but also provided a clear direction for the future: innovation, sustainability, and collaboration will be the keys to success in the sector.
