95 percent recycling in the Lidl stores
As an innovative and responsible company, the Lidl Magyarország has modernized the procedure for waste management in 79 out of its 164 stores. As the result of the network-wide environmental project, the company can recycle 95 percent of the waste generated.
In the past two years, the Lidl constantly modernized the waste management equipment in its stores, which allowed more efficient recycling process. The department store separates 25 types of waste, thanks to the introduction of the modern technology, now the company can recycle almost all of the generated waste: 95 percent.
