Retail sales have been growing steadily for 58 months – Pomázi Gyula, the Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) told M1 news channel on Tuesday in response to the latest data of the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
According to the Central Statistical Office, retail sales, at constant prices, increased by 4.3 percent in April, while calendar effect adjusted – mainly due to the Eater effect – increased by 6.0 percent, compared to the previous year, after the 7.8 and 7.3 percent growth of the first quarter.
