2016 was the year of innovation and expansion for Auchan

In 2016 Auchan Retail Hungary realised gross sales of HUF 350.4-billion with their 19 hypermarkets and 18 petrol stations. Sales increased by 3.8 percent and the company strengthened its positions in the Hungarian market. This year Auchan will open their first supermarket in Szekszárd. Auchan also started a programme that helps customers to stay healthy. Head of the health project Virginie Depardieu told: until the end of the year experts will examine the ingredients of thousands of products, and based on the results the retailer will make health recommendations, using special product markings. //
