1400 billion HUF for rural development
The Darányi Ignác Plan New Hungary Rural Development Program closes at year end the year. The program since 2007 provided 1,400 billion HUF worth EU fundings for Hungary. The results of the program were presented in the scope of a cross-country road show. The final event was held on 26 October on the Day of the Hungarian Countryside at the Millenáris.
Through the actions of the Darányi Ignác Plan New Hungary Rural Development Program (ÚMVP) 1,400 billion HUF worth European Union support was available for Hungary. The purpose of the investment – mainly implemented from this amount – is to improve the competitiveness of agriculture, to preserve the values of the natural and built environment and to boost the economy.
