Restrictions may come in case of the EU agricultural subsidies
Restrictions have to be taken in the Union’s new Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) between 2020 and 2027, according to EU Budget Commissioner Günther Oettinger. While the British withdrawal leads to a loss of revenue, the needs to spend more on common defense policy, security and migration problems.
The EU’s budget is built on four key issues, security, economic development and competitiveness, solidarity and sustainability – Günther Oettinger saif after the committee meeting on the framework of the budget for the seven-year period of 2020-2027. He said that the Member States will have to adopt certain restrictions that will mainly affect the Common Agricultural Policy and Cohesion Funds. (agrarszektor.hu)
