Shopping trolley with RFID tag revolutionises offline channels
If retailers want to build a loyal group of customers, they must learn about their needs and turn shopping into an experience. The wanzl connect system by Wanzl can help them in this: one of its pillars is the shopping trolley equipped with an RFID tag, which makes it possible to turn shopping in a brick-and-mortar store into as much of an experience as a few clicks on the internet.
Checking in via the application, the system organises the shopping in accordance with the needs of the customer. For instance products on the digital shopping list can easily be found, and the customer receives personalised promotional offers or recipes. What is more, at the end of the shopping wanzl connect recommends opening a new checkout to the store manager if the queue is too long.
‘To be very close to shoppers’ – this is the advantage that wanzl connect offers. (x)
