ÁSZ: labor market indicators improved between 2006 and 2016
Labor market indicators improved significantly between 2006 and 2016 in Hungary: the number of employed increased by 10.7 percent, while the number of unemployed decreased by 26.3 percent, and the number of economically active persons grew by almost 350 thousand among the population aged 15-74 – the State The Court of Auditors (ÁSZ) reported in its fresh analysis that was released on Monday.
The ÁSZ emphasized that the increase in economic activity indirectly contributed to the decline in the GDP proportional gross national debt, as it reduced the expenditures of public finances. (MTI)
