Zsigó: The focus will be on innovative food industry developments in the future
“We have voted in favor of innovative developments in the food industry, and they will be in the focus of the next EU budget cycle,” – the Mionister of the Ministry of Agriculture said on Wednesday in Etyek.
In his opening speech at the Agóra – Innovation and Sustainability in the FMCG Market event, Zsigó Róbert emphasized that in the period 2021-2027, they are preparing for sectoral developments, which are already being discussed with industry and interest representatives. He emphasized the importance of increasing energy efficiency and reducing the environmental burden in the food industry, as well as “getting to know robotics and digitalisation” because they can produce higher value-added products.
