WHC Group: for the time being, there is no noticeable decline in temporary employment
According to recent news, even at the highest levels of the government, unemployment is expected to rise sharply in the coming period, but there is still no sign of this on the labor market. Not only is employment at its peak according to the latest KSH statistics, but also the experience of one of the largest domestic labor hire companies, the Hungarian-owned WHC Group, shows this. Market demands indicate that there is still a shortage of both highly-skilled and intermediate-skilled workers, as well as unskilled labor for the time being.

Therefore, the lack of labor and specialists is still a problem to be solved
Although increasingly dark clouds are gathering and more and more analysts are forecasting an economic downturn in Hungary as well, so far no negative turn has occurred on the labor market.
“Although there have been reports recently that the number of online job advertisements has decreased, this is not necessarily due to a change in trend, but rather the reason could be that employers have found alternative advertising channels, or perhaps turnover has decreased and therefore not so many advertisements were needed “
– drew attention to the latest recruitment trends, Viktor Göltl, managing director of the WHC Group.
Therefore, the shortage of labor and specialists is still a problem that needs to be solved, which poses an increasing challenge to Hungarian companies. There is not only a high demand for workers with high or intermediate qualifications, but there is also a shortage of low-skilled workers.
“The importation of guest workers, the employment of foreign workers – even from third countries – is therefore definitely necessary”
– added the specialist.
