Heineken curbs global water use by 11%
Heineken reduced its water use by 11% globally last year compared to 2018.

The brewing company implemented its water efficiency programme in 56 factories, including in Italy and Brazil, where it has achieved water use reductions of 13% and 9%, respectively. In water-stressed regions Heineken’s objective is to replenish 1.5 litres of water in local watersheds for every litre of beer produced by 2030.
