Leader change at Henkel
Dr. Friedrich Stara, 61 year old member of the Henkel Management Board and the company's Executive Vice President, leader of the detergents and household cleaners business-branch is scheduled to retire in February 2011.
Bruno Piacenza (44), Corporate Senior Vice President, will took over Dr. Fredrich Stara’s position from the 1st of March 2011 in the executive board.
The French-born Bruno Piacenza earned an MBA degree in the training of HEC in Paris. He previously worked for a consulting firm, then joined Henkel in 1990, where he worked in various functions within the cosmetics business sector, where he was in charge for a number of countries, regions and business areas. Since 2006, he fills in the presidential position of Henkel France.
