The EU eggs are in competitive disadvantage
The egg market of the European Union is in a competitive disadvantage, compare to countries producing eggs with lower levels of food safety and animal welfare standards.
Therefore, at the bilateral trade negotiations with countries outside the European Union, it should be required that the egg producers of the competing countries to introduce similar animal welfare standards, such as the animal keepers of the EU. (agrarszektor.hu)
