The Too Good To Go apps allows customers to buy products that are damaged or approaching their use-by date at a vastly reduced cost. The exact contents of each £3.50 ‘Magic Bag’ remain unknown until they are collected, but each one is guaranteed to contain contain at least £10 worth of groceries.
“Tackling food waste has never been more important, both for the sake of the planet and to support people looking for the best possible value on their groceries,”
said Aldi UK’s corporate responsibility director, Liz Fox.
