Foodpanda will change the remuneration of the couriers after the execution of the kata
After the amendment of the KATÁ tax form, foodpanda completely reconsidered the remuneration of courier partners and increased the amount that can be earned with the same performance by an average of 18 percent. The company has long-term plans with its courier partners, so in addition to offsetting additional tax burdens, the goal was to create an attractive remuneration that was also validated by the couriers.
Since the announcement of the amendment to the KATA Act, it is clear that couriers will have to find a new form of taxation and that the tax burden will increase for many of them. In recent weeks, foodpanda has been working on the introduction of a remuneration that courier partners have been asking for for a long time and which offsets the increased tax burden for more than 4,000 courier partners working in different corners of the country, using different vehicles and delivering different quantities.
“We know from the feedback of the courier partners that they like flexibility and are motivated by special rewards for high performance. Taking this aspect into account, we finally increased the remuneration more than the amount of additional tax applied to all our couriers. According to the new fee table, we increased the fees by an average of 18 percent, and since it is not a fixed but performance-based remuneration: those who work the same amount can earn more, and those who work more or more efficiently can earn much more.
– said István Juhász, managing director of foodpanda.
