Companies also help the work of the Food Bank
As a result of the collaboration between Nestlé and Tesco, the two companies will support the work of the Hungarian Food Bank Association with 10.1 million HUF. In a charity campaign announced in the fall, Nestlé offered 1 percent of the value of Nestlé products sold in Tesco stores for food between September 30 and October 13, and Tesco doubled the amount. The collected money will be used by the Food Bank to deliver 108,000 food packages to those who really need it, the association told MTI on Tuesday. (MTI)
