Restarting
Early summer the Guild of Hungarian Restaurateurs (MVI) sent its package of recommendations for restarting the hospitality sector to the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ). At the end of July, making amendments in the light of how the summer season developed, MVI sent the updated version of the recommendation package to MTÜ.
This includes ideas such importing workers from abroad to ease the problem of labour force shortage in hospitality, introducing rules similar to those governing wedding parties for profit-oriented events and making hospitality enterprise eligible for state funding in the 2021-2027 EU budgetary cycle – at both regional and national level.//
