MOL’s new mineral water brand arrives in recycled bottle
MOL’s new mineral water brand, Fonte Natura is available in 100% recycled PET bottle packaging, in fizzy and still version, in 0.75- and 1.5-litre sizes. This premium quality water is from the Ice Age, and it is bottled in Somogyvár. Fonte Natura products – which replace the MOL Fonte Verde range – aren’t only available in the shops of MOL filling stations, but also from several Hungarian retail chains.
Péter Pantl, MOL’s group corporate communication and marketing director told: their new mineral water is an eco-friendly choice for consumers. Attila Erdész, managing director of Fonte Viva Kft. (MOL Group acquired the company in 2018) added that they collect several million plastic bottles and put them back into circulation every year, and this number is expected to increase from 2024, when the deposit return scheme will start.
