The glass Magnum comes in recycled plastic packaging
After tests last year, more than 7 million glasses of Magnum will be on European store shelves this year, coming in packaging made from recycled plastic. Previously, no suitable technology was available, so Unilever’s goals included supporting the development of a recycling method.
Following last year’s successful test period in Spain, Belgium and the Netherlands, amounting to around 600,000 units, Unilever will launch more than 7 million glasses of Magnum ice cream across Europe this year, with packaging made from recycled – and of course recyclable – plastic.
