Will the Sunday shop be closed again?
Due to the increased energy prices, the closing of shops on Sunday was once again on the table.
According to the trade union leader who commented on the case, employers would benefit from the decision in addition to the employees, since with such utility prices, it also matters to them whether they need to heat or even light for half a day more per week.
Due to the runaway electricity and gas prices, the complete closing of shops on Sundays would be justified today, but we will stick to the original goal of closing the blinds at noon on the seventh day of the week.
– said Zoltán Karsai, president of the Trade Union of Commercial Employees (KASZ), to Világggazdaság.
