Shops can sell sprits during the night in Kiev again
The Ukrainian court of appeal has issued a final decision to allow it to sell spirits during the night in Kiev’s stores – the Ukrainian anti-monopoly committee announced on Tuesday on Facebook.
The local government in Kiev has decided to ban alcohol sales in the Ukrainian capital’s stores between 11 pm and 10 am last September. The ban applied to both supermarkets and small shops, but did not extend to restaurants. The local government tried to fight against alcoholism this way. (Kovács Andrea, MTI)
