New salami ripener and cutting line were handed over in the meat plant of the Kaposvár-based Kométa '99 Zrt. on Tuesday. The nearly two billion HUF worth investment was handed over by Kardeván Endre, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Rural Development.

At the handing over ceremony the Secretary of State stressed: “Today the Government's intention met with the interests of the pig farmers. Our common goal is to increase the number of rural jobs, make domestic products more competitive, and give a chance for the families.” -said Kardeván Endre, adding that the company employs 600 people, and is one of the largest employer of Kaposvár and Somogy county – reports MTI.
