New European marketplace association established
Four major e-commerce enterprises – Romania’s eMag, France’s Cdiscount, Germany’s Real.de and Italy’s ePrice – have announced that they established the International Marketplace Network (IMN).
The new platform reaches more than 230 customers via nearly 30,000 online retailers. Cdiscount’s CEO Emmanuel Grenier told: IMN is a big step forward for the whole sector and a major technological breakthrough as well. Plus the new network helps SMEs in growing and entering European markets. The network also stresses the dynamism and innovativeness of marketplace-type online retail networks at a European level. //
