MCI’s new presidency
On 20 February 2023 the Hungarian Confectioners Guild (MCI) held its general meeting in Hunguest Hotel Bál Resort, where member also elected the new presidency. In order to facilitate decision-making and to operate more efficiently in general, the number of presidency members was reduced to ten.

The new presidency of MCI
In the next four years Balázs Erdélyi will be MCI’s president, with László Selmeczi as his co-president.
Members of the presidency: Zoltán Andrész, Biatorbágy; Gabriella Bergmanné Gutman, Balatonfüred; Zsolt Csuta, Csákvár; Beatrix Harrer-Abosi, Sopron; Zoltán Kiss, Lajosmizse; Gábor Mészáros, Szombathely; Ádám Pataki, Érd, Aliz Pécsváradi – MCI.
The guild’s main goals include strengthening lobbying work, promoting artisan confectionery, raising the prestige of the trade, and organising training courses, workshops and various events. //
