New signatories joined for versatile portrayal of human in advertisements
Twenty-two member companies have joined the commitment to promote human dignity in advertising since its launch in March. Signatories are committed to contributing to positive cultural change through responsible and versatile portrayal of people in advertising.
Issues of depiction of the human body, age, skin color, skin imperfections, any disability, or gender-related occupations, depictions of behavior (whether it is a masculine thing to push a stroller) in advertisements have changed a lot in recent years, and they want to work together for future change. Signatories to a commitment initiated by a Self – Regulatory Advertising Board.
