MTÜ: several hundred billion HUF for tourism development

The government this year allocated 10 billion HUF for the development of hotels and will spend hundreds of billions of forints, partly from European Union, partly from budgetary sources to strnghten the priority tourism development areas – Deputy Chief Executive of the Hungarian Tourist Agency (MTÜ) told M1 news channel on Tuesday.

Princzinger Péter emphasized that the five-year program, whereby all Hungarian commercial accommodations can improve their current classification with one star starts this year.

The new direction of the development of tourism, among other things is the development of quality services and improve tourism in rural Hungary – he added. (MTI)
