A tourism campaign was launched to present the cultural values of Lake Balaton

A tourism campaign has been launched to promote the cultural and gastronomic values of Lake Balaton – the Deputy CEO of the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ)told M1 news channel on Wednesday.

Könnyid László added that as part of the campaign, a special map of Lake Balaton was published, showing the cultural and gastronomic curiosities of the area, the possibilities of active recreation and family programs.

According to the data of the MTÜ, the number of domestic guests at Lake Balaton in September will be very favorable. Half of last year’s domestic bookings have already been made, he added.

In terms of the number of domestic guests, a strong autumn is expected not only at Lake Balaton, but also in the area of Debrecen and Mátra-Bükk – he remarked. (MTI)
