A tourism innovation competition has started
The CheckINN Tourism Innovation HUB has launched a tourism innovation competition called CheckINN for the fourth time this year for students attending higher education in Hungary, the organizers told MTI.
The purpose of the competition is to renew the domestic travel sector to respond to the challenges of the recent and present, and they believe that the best idea may come from the young people who are most in sync with the changing world. For this reason, teams of three students from all fields of study are welcome to apply for the competition.
The organizers are expecting innovations related to accommodation in the Hotel industry hospitality category, and new program ideas in the Active tourism category. As stated, no strict frameworks are set, the ideas can apply to services, marketing, digitalization within the categories, but at the same time special attention will be paid to green solutions. The novelty of the year 2022 is that, in cooperation with OTP Travel, they also announced the Corporate Challenge category, in which travel agencies can receive fresh, forward-looking impulses, for example in the form of a service idea tailored to Generation Z or a modern discount system concept.
