Farmers may become shareholders in Sio-Eckes
Sió-Eckes Kft. has sold over 40 million litres of fruit juice, nectar and fruit drink in the first six months of the year, which is 4 per cent more than a year earlier. – The decision to focus on Sió and Hohes C Sió – has turned out to be a good one – said Endre Fazekas, general director. Sió is still the leading brand in the fruit juice market with a share of 16,4 per cent. It now also holds the highest market share in the premium segment with Sió Gold. Endre Fazekas has also declared their intention to offer shares in the business to fruit producers, which would provide a less risky environment for co-operation.
