Retail sales continue to increase
In August, retail sales grew 6.3 percent. Calendar effects adjusted the growth was 6.8 percent, compared to the prevous year – according to the first estimate of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) published on Wednesday.
In the non-food product group, volume of sales was 10.7 percent higher than a year before. After the 12.7 percent of January 2018 and 10.9 percent of June 2018, it is the third time that the Central Statistical Office (KSH) measured an increase. (MTI)
