ITM recommends banning additional disposable plastic products
The Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) would ban the marketing of disposable plastic beverage glasses and light and very light, including biodegradable plastic carrier bags in Hungary from January 1, according to a bill submitted to the Parliament, Boros Anita said at a press conference in Budapest on Wednesday.
The ministry’s secretary of state for construction, infrastructure, and sustainability recalled that the previously adopted climate and nature protection action plan already included a ban on the placing on the market of certain disposable plastic devices. (MTI)
