The Purchasing Managers' Index indicates a further expansion in February
The Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI), indicates a further expansion in February. The seasonally adjusted value of the index increased to 54.8 points drom the 53.1 points of January – the Hungarian Association of Logistics, Purchasing and Inventory Management (MLBKT) announced on Tuesday.
The majority of the surveyed sub-indices increased compared to January, such as the volume of the production and new orders indices as well. The external market indicators, such as the index of import and export index also rose compared to January.
The employment index has been above 50 points in February, and the values of the past year show growth with the exception of four months. (MTI)
