Romanian retail increased further
Romanian retail sales volume increased by more than 14 percent in the first eleven months of last year, compared to the same period of 2015 the Romanian national statistical institute announced on Friday.
According to raw data, the volume of retail sales grew by 14.2 percent. According to the seasonally and calendar-adjusted value, the increase was 14.3 percent.
The increase is mainly due to the sales of food, beverages and tobacco products that increased by 15.5 percent. Non-food sales grew 15.4 percent, while fuel sales increased by 10.3 percent. (MTI)
