SAP Hungary closed the strongest year in its history
In 2023, SAP Hungary had a better year than ever, winning the “SAP – Best Country of the Year” award for the Central and Eastern European region, which includes 24 countries, while its consulting business took home the “SAP – Best Cloud Services Country” award. . One of the main reasons for the record business result was the increased demand for cloud services, in this segment alone, SAP Hungary’s revenue increased by 74 percent compared to the previous year.
SAP can boast significant results globally, as it closed the fourth quarter of 2023 with a revenue of 8.5 billion euros, compared to 8.1 billion in the same period of the previous year. Within this, revenues from cloud sales increased by 20 percent, from 3.1 to 3.7 billion euros, and sales of cloud S/4HANA increased by 55% year-on-year, resulting in revenues exceeding one billion euros last year.
SAP Hungary emerged as the most successful of the 24 countries in the Central and Eastern European region. The company fulfilled its annual plans by 134%, which meant a 74% increase in cloud revenues compared to last year. Investments and gigaprojects in the energy, pharmaceutical and IT industries contributed the most to the results in 2023.
