Wine makers from Tokaj and Szekszárd won Quadris awards at the 14th National Syngenta Wine Competition
The Tokaj-based Patrícius Wine House, the Fitomark Tokaji Wine House and the Szekszárd- based Twickel Vineyards were awarded with Quadris awards – was revealed at the awards ceremony in Siófok on Wednesday.
Czigány Tibor, executive director of the Syngenta said that at this year's wine competition 226 white wines, 106 red wines 64 and rosés and 3 sparkling wines were competing from almost all the wine regions of the country. Czigány Tibor told that a fair number of 2014 vintage wines, were also sent to the competition, despite the fact that last year the weather was unfavorable for the domestic production of grapes.
