The number of Hungarian SMEs that are able to export has increased multiple over four years
The number of Hungarian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that are able to export has increased several times between 2014 and 2018, Magyar Levente, Minister of State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (KKM) said at the Foreign Trade Year Opening Conference of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK) in Budapest.
He emphasized that the Hungarian government is effectively helping the SMEs to reach foreign markets. According to the data of Eximbank, the number of Hungarian companies that are able to export and achieve at least 10 percent of their sales revenue on foreign markets increased from 2 thousand in 2014 to 10 – 12 thousand – he added.
