Investor confidence in the euro area has improved to a more than one-year high
Sentix’s investor confidence index rose to plus 5 points in March from minus 0.2 points in February. Experts expected a less improving indicator, plus 1.9 points, for March.
Both components of the index, the current investor environment and the outlook, have also improved. The indicator quantifying the assessment of the current investor environment rose to minus 19.3 points from minus 27.5 points in February, and the assessment of the outlook rose to 32.5 points from 31.5 points.
