Tourism improved the balance of payments with more than 3 billion euros in 2016. The number of foreign visits increased by 6.6 percent over the previous year.
Guller Zoltán, Chief Executive of the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ) told in Sopron, at the first stage of the National professional event series on Tuesday that a paradigm shift is needed in tourism, which is justified by several factors, such as security, which Hungary has, the internet, which affects consumer demand and profitability as well.
